Question about 1999 Mercury Villager

Need to lower the height of the front passenger seat.

Can I lower the height of the front passenger seat on a 1999 Mercury Villager to accomodate a handicapped person who has trouble climbing up into the seat.

It would be difficult to do your self. I think you would need a shop that does handicapp vehicle modifications to do it. The seat is only held on by 4 bolts, but I don't see a way to lower the seat.

The Crankshaft Position Sensor is located: Under hood, passenger side, lower engine area, front of crankshaft pulley, mounted in engine block.

it needs to have the rear expansion valve to be inspected for metal, if clean repl expansion valve and recharge a/c

you could just be low on freon. Add 1 can & see what happens.
Usually the rear works but not the front. I'm assuming the blower works back there.

It could also be the rear control for hot/cold. You can get an assembly at slavage yard for $10.

I need firing order for mercury villager 1994


it's 1-2-3-4-5-6.

#1 is on the passenger side rear and #3 & #5 are also on the back.

#2 is in front on passenger side. #4 & #6 are across the front.

My 1999 mercury villager heater is not blowing hot air


you have air trapped in the heater cores, front and back. You need to burp system or take to a shop and have them flush cooling system and use their vacuum system to purge the air. Should cost $60. Make sure they have vacuum system.

Check connections at ignition coil under hood, also plugs at cuircut board at rear of gauge cluster.
