Question about 2001 Dodge Durango
This happend all the sudden, fine one day, next time i drive it it dies at idle. starts right back up and dies at idle again and again. I was thinking fuel pump or filter but thought i would check here first. Thanks
HI, your assessment is correct. this is a fuel filter and pump issue. i would also add a fuel injector cleaner after the replacement of the fuel pump and filter. this will scrub the fuel system and clean any debris that may exist at this point. Techtron injector cleaner is the best solution when cleaning the injector system.
I would also inspect the spark plug wires for faults as well. make sure they are fitted tightly over the plugs.

Sounds like a faulty crankshaft position sensor to me. Are you getting a code PO320?
