All at once from 1 driving cycle to the next.....the fuel guage won't work, the automatic climate control is erratic with the vents and the fan speed, the wipers wont work on intermittent or low and high but will work by pushing the washer. It will swipe once or will swipe 3 times if you hold it in and wash, the door locks wont work from inside but will work off the key fob. I tested the key switch and it is working properly. I have read numerous articles on the BCM. Is it a different module than the ECM?

SOURCE: front cv axle 1995 dodge intrepid

Naturally you need to remove the tire then the brake caliper. After the brake caliper is removed then you need to remove the 34mm axle nut that is inside the hub. After that is removed then you can remove the hub. Becareful not to damage the hub seal on the back or you will have to buy a new hub (100 or more). Then you need to remove the strut knuckle assembly. Once the knuckle assembly is removed then you can pull the CV axle. Take care the inner CV housing is held in place by an inner snap ring. You will probably have to pry off the inner housing. Once the axle is off then install the new axle (if you buy complete axle). Make sure if you are doing both that you take care which side you are installing. I made that mistake and double the work. Slide the new axle on the spline and make sure it is seated completely. Then put back together the reverse of removal.

Check your Fuel Filter, especially if your in a cold climate that has already reached freezing temps. If you have any moisture in your fuel system and the freezing temps have arrived the filter and injectors can freeze up slightly causing this type of problem. If this was happening in warmer temperatures check the fuel system for pin hole leaks that could be allowing the air into the system.

What does the code 1255 mean in a 1995 Intrepid?

That's probably code 12 & 55 which means 12-battery has been disconnected recently, and 55 is end of codes. In other words, nothing to worry about. Are you having any problems?
