Underneath the car near the firewall, look for a small black rubber tube, if you run the a/c for a little while you should see some water dripping out, which makes it easier to find.

if it is clogged, you can take a blowgun and gently clear it out.

Water leaking on floor of 2005 camry AC

Ok well had same problem. The drain hose is blocked and is backing up and coming out of top of drain plug and tube into the car so the tube hanging down in engine bay left side of motor may be blocked with mud dirt or something else so check it and with aircon on if the water is not dripping out of the drain tube then it is blocked

The A/C drain is located on the bottom of the firewall on the passenger side. It should be easily found from under the car.

2003 Toyota Landcruiser - dripping water from AC unit inside car, passenger floor board...AC works fine...clogged drain line ???

yes the drain line is clogged,, its located along the firewall and is a bear to see,, if you get under the vehicle, and look along the edge you'll see it don't blow air into it , that will just make the clog worse, take a wire, and gently ease it up into the tube, working slowly , be ready to get wet,, once you loosen the clog the water behind it will flush it out, and sometimes there is quite a lot

The floor on the front passenger side is staying soaking wet with water the water is not dripping down on floor

Suspect leaking AC condensate drain line, unless it smells like anti-freeze, in which case its the heater core.

When i run air condition leaks water on passenger side floor mat

The usual problem when this happens is that the drain line from the AC condenser is plugged causing it to fill up with water which eventually finds a way out and drains onto the passenger side floor. It is fairly easy to fix but requires getting underneath the car on the front passenger side, locating the drain line, normally a flexible hose coming down through the frame roughly below the dashboard. and running something like a coat hanger up through the drain line to remove the blockage. Beware that water will start to run out the hose as the blockage is removed.
Some cars have this problem more frequently than others and you may have to repeat this procedure every year or so. When it starts dripping water on the passenger side again it's overdue.

I have a 2008 Elantra, and water is dripping on the passenge side floor. I suspect that the AC drain tubing is blocked. Also a swooshing noise can be heard when making a sharp left hand turn. How can I...

They can be hard to find. Do you remember where the water dripped on your driveway after parking. That's where the water came from. It will be in the area of the firewall since that's where the evaporator is located. It may drip on the frame and run down from there so you'll have to get under there when the engine is not hot and use a flashlight to look everywhere. If you're lucky a little water will still drip helping you find it. Blowing through the drain hose is the best way to clear it. Compressed air is even better.

Location of ac drain to try and stop wet floor board on 98 tj?

The problem is with the evaporator drain. There is a, (usually soft flexable), tube that drains condensation from the evaporator to the outside. It is located in the passenger compartment, under the dash. The hose has, (A)-became disconnected from the evaporator. (B)- Has gotten a kink in it. (C)-Became clogged, causing the evaporator to overflow into your passenger floorboard. Your vehicle probably has some covers over these components, you will likely have to remove. Locate the hose, it typically drains just behind and inside your right front wheel. It may be concealed behind a kick panel, or may go thru the floor or firewall. You must find it and follow it to the evaporator and make sure it is not clogged or kinked and is properly connected to the evaporator.

2005 Chrysler Pacifica-Air conditioning leak

The 05/04 Pacifica did not come with an elbow tube on the drain line for the AC drip pan. As you drive, the air flow into the tube pushes the condensate water back into the pan which is inside above the passenger floor board, the drain line is under the hood on the firewall. I spoke with the parts guy at the local Chrysler dealer, he sold me a drain tube for the 06 (~$10) and I installed it, wasn't too hard to do from the top if the engine is cold. The elbow slips on over the drain tube. Make sure to point the tube down. It only took one trip to start seeing water drip out of the tube and the floorboard started to dry up and almost three years later, the floorboard is still dry.
