Question about 1995 Toyota Tercel
The door handle on the drivers side of the car broke in half. I can still open the door from the outside but i would like to know how to replace the door handle and if it requires major labor to do.
No major labor to fix and you can do this yourself. You have to remove all screws on the door panel, use a tool available at the automotive store. It looks like a flattened out screwdriver with a notch in the flattened end. This is to help pop the fasteners off with the door panel from the door itself. Tools is about $5.00.
After that, unclip the skinny rods to the the affected door handle. You can use a skinny screwdriver for this. Unbolt the 2 screws or bolts from the door handle and wiggle it out.
Install in reverse order.
