There are no "correct" numbers for compression tests, as actual compression depends on many variables. The important thing is that it is not crazy low (less than 110 psi approx) and that all cylinders measure within 10% of each other (approx). Tests should be done with throttle held wide open and all plugs removed. Crank engine about 5 revolutions for each test. Comprssion should slowly build to max reading.

Timing chains and actuator replaced, now i have a code PO2279

P2279 is the code for Air Intake System Leak. Smoke checks are ok, but hard to see in places like the underside of the intake manifold. SInce your compression is good and even, chances are that the problem is at the intake manifold gasket.

1,3,5,7 cylinder miss fire

Bank1 failure.

my guess, those DTCs off a cheap scan tool>? why not post source and real codes, no lie P0301 is real. but off what?

real engine: Name.

4.7 L 2UZ-FE V8

VVT-i variant??? got VVT? IF ONE SIDE FAILS, misfire there. if cam retarded. if bad, can be 14deg retarded, (huge)

see cam action here.

2003 Tundra.

if using a full real scan tool that sees all toyota extended DTCs , you might see VVT errors, $20 tools and lame autozoned , blind .

there are 4 sensors there, id bet there are codes you missed!

P0301,3,5, and 7, DTC, ONLY?

bad coil packs? no.

thats the whole left bank, bad.

RF 2-4-6-8

LF 1-3-5-7

so, VVT bad on left bank or coil pack ,

yours has 8 COP coils, so its not 4 bad COPS.

a real mech sees all this in 1 second , online, impossible

nor country. sold.\'

could the timing belt slip only on one side

did you do timing belt service, on time, if not, bingo.

misfire is

bad compression (vvt?)

bad spark , no, not all 4

bad fueling, but there is only 1 maf/map, and one full injection rate there so not fuel mix.related.

here is a tool (most AZ stores clueless)

that reads the enhanced DTC of Toyotas

using a 1996 tool , misses the boat.

but id bet your VVT is bad. left bank.

the real tool might help. here.

Low beam not working on 97 Mitsubishi Lancer. Park ok, hi beam ok. Lamps test ok.

If Dual beam bulbs, low beam on light may be blown. I just had the same problem on my '91 Camaro. Could also be a simple fuse replacement, find correct fuse, , replace, and recheck.

P0010 engin light

A code P0010 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
  • Faulty oil control valve (OCV)
  • Open or short in the VVT/VCT circuit
  • Open or short in the OCV / solenoid valve
  • Damaged computer (PCM)
Possible Solutions Some recommended troubleshooting and repair steps are:
  • Carefully inspect the Bank 1 VVT/VCT system circuit wiring and connectors, repair as required
  • With a warm engine, test the operation of the OCV, replace/repair as needed

Do not have low beams

The same bulb serves a dual function. High/Low beam. Whichever one it is will need to be replaced. I recommend to replace them in pairs so that they match in brightness and the other one will probably burn out soon anyway.
