2005 mitsubishi outlander indicators working correctly but both interior dash indicator lights flashing on left or right switch or circut board ?

One of the contacts for the turn signal bulbs inside the instrument clusters is loose and may need resoldering. You will need to open up the cluster and check for continuity from the turn signal LED bulbs to the electrical connector plug. In our case, we found an open circuit.
Follow this procedure to troubleshoot this problem.
  1. Remove instrument cluster from the dashboard.
  2. Open the instrument cluster. Remove the back cover from the instrument cluster.
  3. Once the circuit board is exposed inspect the contact where the turn signal sockets are connected to the circuit board. In our case one of the turn signal socket pins was broken and not making contact with the circuit.

What will cause a 1999 Pontiac Sunfire to not go into the extended learn mode when replacing the ign lock assembly .

Did you clear codes ? . All codes in the theft deterrent module must be cleared for a relearn.
PASSLOCK Changing - Components Description
Important: Due to component variability, the vehicle theft deterrent (VTD) system must have the learn procedure performed regardless, if the vehicle starts on the first ignition cycle after a VTD repair.
All codes in the theft deterrent module must be cleared for a relearn.
Engineers design the Passlock™ system in order to prevent theft even if the various theft deterrent parts change. The Tamper mode will engage if any of the following components change:
• The Passlock™ lock cylinder
• The instrument cluster
• The powertrain control module (PCM)
If you replace any of the above components, the system will enter the long tamper mode. If the system enters the long tamper mode, ensure that the system completes a long tamper mode cycle. During the long tamper mode cycle, the THEFT indicator will flash for the full 10 minutes. The instrument cluster and the PCM require the full 10 minutes in order to complete the learn cycle. Ensure that the ignition switch remains in RUN until the indicator stops flashing. If you turn the ignition switch before the indicator stops flashing, repeat the long tamper cycle from the beginning.
Are there any codes ?
Problem
Action
The THEFT SYSTEM indicator will not light under any circumstances.
Replace the instrument cluster.
For Chevrolet vehicles, refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .
For Pontiac vehicles, refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .
Multiple indicators light continuously.
Test for a loss of serial data. Refer to Data Link Connector.
Instrument cluster DTC B1021 sets.

I just bought a 1998 Pontiac Bonneville and now the system monitor light is on why and what does that mean?

No other messages in the driver info center ?
This section provides an overview of the instrument cluster operation as well as a detailed diagnosis. The instrument cluster serves as the primary interface for the vehicle's driver.
The instrument cluster contains a microprocessor as part of the instrument panel assembly. The instrument cluster performs the following functions:
• Recognizes operational malfunctions
• Alerts the driver through indicators
• Stores DTCs which identify malfunction areas
In order to perform all of these functions, the instrument cluster microprocessor has its own inputs, outputs and program software. The instrument cluster has the capability to diagnose malfunctions in the following components:
• The sensors
• The input switches
• The components
• The systems the instrument cluster communicates with or controls
When the instrument cluster or another microprocessor-controlled module detects a malfunction, the instrument cluster may turn on an instrument cluster indicator in order to alert the driver that a malfunction has occurred. Some indicator lamps have dual controls. Your best bet is have it checked for DTC'S diagnostic trouble codes !

Where is the alarm located on an 2006equinox

What alarm ? Anti-theft ?
The theft deterrent system on this vehicle is comprised of 2 separate systems, the Vehicle Theft Deterrent (VTD) System and the Content Theft Deterrent (CTD) System. The VTD prevents drive away theft by preventing the vehicle from starting. The CTD is the vehicle alarm system which discourages unauthorized entry into the vehicle. These systems are described and diagnosed separately within this section.
SECURITY Indicator
The SECURITY indicator on the instrument panel cluster (IPC) is controlled by the body control module (BCM) through the security indicator control circuit.
?€¢
The Vehicle Theft Deterrent (VTD) System contained in the BCM commands the instrument cluster to control the SECURITY indicator only when the ignition switch is ON. The VTD System uses the telltale as a malfunction indicator.

?€¢
The Content Theft Deterrent (CTD) System also contained in the BCM commands the instrument cluster to control the indicator only when the ignition switch is OFF. The CTD System uses the SECURITY indicator to identify system status.

It's software , a program inside the BCM ! An you can't just replace the BCM , it needs programming ! The dealer is the place to have that done ,most of the time ! If there is a SECRUITY light lit on the dash ,there is a DTC - diagnostic trouble code stored in the BCM , this code will point the service technician in the diagnostic path !

The red arms on the gauges do not light up on a 2004 saturn l300

All of the instrument cluster functions are handled inside of the cluster. So for just the gauge needles not lighting up, you will need a replacement instrument cluster.

Can't identify what warning light means

Hey.
Don't drive anywhere til you check your coolant level . I think you'll find that you are very low on antifreeze. Check the rad cap while the engine is COLD, hate to see you get scalded by hot fluid.
Good luck
