Po302 po304 po307 po171 codes are showing up, any ideas?

PO 301 thru PO 308 are engine cylinders with possible
misfires & bad coils

PO 171 is a lean condition on Bank# 1 oxygen sensor

If the front or upstream sensor are over 100,000 miles, change
them as preventative maintenance

The cylinder misfires have to be diagnosed & tested any of
several ways, professionally for the most part

Car hesitates to go when pressing on the gas petal could that be a problem with the catalitic convertor

not really sure but all codes are for missfire cylinder ,do you get a bad smell from exhaust ? (rotton eggs), do you have low exhaust pressure ,put hand over exhaust pipe and have someone reve motor it should push your hand away. good luck , hope this helped.

Not a lot to go on but there are a few things you can have looked at.
If you are near an Autozone or similar store you can have them check
the OBDC codes for free. It appears you are either getting to much gas
or not enough, probably not enough. The codes will tell you if any sensors
are faulty. The other issue may be a faulty fuel pump or something as simple
as a bad/partially clogged fuel filter. The Autozone folk may also give you some
advice. This is probably not something you can easily fix yourself so you will
need to take to a competent mechanic. I say this because you are asking here.

Since the car is starting your starter is probably working based on the information
you put in the note.

When i put in gas car spits and spudders clears out untill gas agian

Sound to me like you have water in the bottom of your fuel tank. when you fill it the water is mixed with the gas until it settles. put some gas line antifreeze into the fuel tank, may take several bottles. but this should help. if not you will have to have tank taken off and drained.
