Can't lock my Honda Accord as alarm goes off when locked

Can't lock my Honda Accord (R registration) as alarm goes off every time. Don't have an alarm code - just have one manual black key and one remote immobiliser thingy. Whether I lock it with remote or manual it goes off whatever. help!

as the previous person described, the alarm goes off every time the doors are locked. Whether you unlock it with the key or the remote door lock it will alarm and continue to alarm until it gets ready to stop. the only way to prevent it is to keep the doors unlocked even when driving.

If you have a valet key, stick it it on the passenger side when unlocking door, so it wont alarm while you open the door hope that helps

You will need to have a dealer or repair shop
diagnose that problem using a scan tool and
possibly trouble charts

Can not even guess over the internet

My honda alarm keeps going off while car locked

there are sensors in each lock cylinder, trunk, and hood latch. Is it an ex? try locking the car with the remote, then use the key to unlock each door, if the alarm goes off, that's the bad switch. look in your fuse panels and see, I'm pretty sure if you pull the fuse to disable the alarm, you will lose your power locks

1998 honda accord EX alarm goes off while driving and door locks stop working.

you either have a bad door switch pin or bad hood release contact at front of engine hood try cleaning these parts first with a degreaser to free up the contacts and lube them with a very light oil

Can I stop my horn from sounding when I lock my 2009 Accord

You might can have the dealer program it not to honk, but its just the way the keyless entry works. I've owned 2 accords--an 06 and 08--and both of them honk the horn when the lock button is pressed twice. Pressing the button once will secure the car and arm the alarm. So once click is all you really need. And no your alarm is not malfunctioning.

Key Fob does not work and alarm goes off when raining

the central locking control unit is in the drivers door. there's a polythene sheet in the door panel. If that's ripped or petrified then rain may be screwing with the electrics. it may be worth taking off the door panel and wrapping it the controll unit in a shopping bag or summat.....
