Question about 2001 Chevrolet Blazer
Usually heat shields built into the exhaust system. thin pieces of metl strapped and bolted around certain spots on the exhaust to keep from overheating certain other items or the floor of the car. just look underneath while someone else accelerates. you will probably spot the culprit.
