Also at the part store they show 2 or 3 types almost look the same. Will there make a difference which one you use or do you have to mach the up?
Will the 740 have it in the same location?
There is no orifice tube, these system used a thermal expansion valve behind the dash in the passenger footwell. It should be easy to spot, they are usually covered in a black, tar-like substance.

The best thing to use is a new volvo oem part for the receiver drier orfice tube
