Check the brake light switch. It is in the drivers floor board, behind the brake peddle. The switch looks like a box with a button on it. the brake peddle is pressed, and presses the brake light switch. If the switch sticks, the brake lights will stay on.

Fuel air mixture too rich on a 98 nissan pathfinder

My guess would be a fuel injector or fuel pressure regulator problem, or a Mass air flow sensor.
The O2 sensor does not come into play until the engine has run for a couple of minutes.

1998 Rear Brake lights stay on after car is off?

This is caused by a defective brake light switch, the switch is located under the dash above the brake pedal arm and is very easy to replace.

2000 pathfinder with check engine light. It was supposed to be a gas cap problem, replaced the cap but light stays on. How do you reset it?

If it was a gas cap, the light would go out

You have other EVAP Issues,or other engine
malfunctions, not related to the gas cap

Retrieve the code, and start the diagnostic procedure over

The abs light will not go off

you will need to find someone with the scanner for abs system and see what is the cause. most likely a wheel sensor. you can look and see if there is a wire broken also behind the wheel where the sensor is located
