Question about 2001 Chevrolet Blazer

Rattle at 1500 rpm in drive

I own a 2001 chevy blazer 4.3l 4x4 with 70k miles.my problem: when the car is in drive and rpms are 1500 - 2000 there is an apparent rattle and i havent been too sucessful locating it. how ever it seems louder around the tranny pan. the car shift just fine and maintains a idel fine. im fairly shure is not an exaust component or heat sheild. i had one suggestion that it could be the serpintine belt tensioner bearings. it does sound similar to a bearing rattle but like i said it seems more prominate under the rig and on the passenger side. any suggestions?

Rattle sound at 1500 rpms while in drive.

usually heat shields built into the exhaust system. thin pieces of metl strapped and bolted around certain spots on the exhaust to keep from overheating certain other items or the floor of the car. just look underneath while someone else accelerates. you will probably spot the culprit.
