Question about 2007 Suzuki XL-7
I have a 2003 Suzuki XL7 (Color Black Pearl 3). The fuel door has broken off-that is to say the two pins that hold the door on have broken. I have the door and wondering if there is any way to replace it myself or do I need to buy a whole new door kit? I cannot find what I am looking for online anywhere.
I still had the gas door, so I went to Home Depot and bought 4 round heavy duty magnets and secured them with epoxy inside the four corners of the gas door and body of the car around the fill area. Now my gas door just attached by magnets instead of a hinge.

Buy another door you can locate them on line for around thirty five dollars...by the time you buy the magnets and glue you have almost the cost of the new door. Not to mention the safty hazard. If the magnets let go while driving the car in back of you may be hit with a flying fuel door............your liability not to mention the danger going thru the car wash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! be smart and safe!!!!!!!!!!!
