What is the procedure to reset the Inertia Switch on 1993 Buick LeSabre?

Hello poemlady8: My name is Roger and i will help with your question. your buick does not have an inertia switch on the fuel system. The fuel pump has a fuse and a relay to power the fuel pump. The pump is controlled by the ECM when the engine is running. When you turn the key on yoou should hear the fuel pump run for approx. 10 seconds. Should you not hear the pump run either the pump is bad, a wire is broken or the fuse is blown. Should you need further help please just ask. Please rate the answer. Thank You for using Fix Ya. Roger

What would make a 1993 buick lasabre act like its not getting gas would tht be a fuel filter

Your vehicle has fuel injection which requires an electric fuel pump. If your vehicle is not getting any fuel I would suspect the fuel pump over the filter. Make sure you have voltage at the pump.

Where is the fuel pump located on a 1993 Buick LeSabre

The fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank, through the top. You must remove the fuel tank first, then you can unlock and pull the fuel pump out of the top. This is the case for pretty much any car or truck made past 1985 that has fuel injection.

1993 Buick LeSabre surges and almost dies intermittently

Check fuel rail pressure.

Add fuel to beyond 1/2 tank.

A weak fuel pump do not like to ran low on gas.

When was the last gas filter and fuel pump change?

90-120,000 miles is the typical change out.

Fuel pump like to quit on a HOT day.

Test the pressure and see is it within specification.

Good luck
