Heater and ac not blowing at all

The first thing i would check is the heater blower motor for power. If the blower motor has power then pull and wiggle on the blower motor resistors pigtail or connector but make sure the heater and fan motor and the ignition switch are turn on so you can here if the motor comes on. A lot of times these blower motor resistors get hot enough to melt the connector causing it to loose its connection.

Ac only works on 5 when turned on

Copy and past this link in your browser. You will need this part. My 2003 Silverado did the same thing. Bought this part and its pretty easy to install. Blower motor resistor....this applies the resistance to each speed to allow the fan to have 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5

The blower/fan control only works in position 4 & 5, is this a switch or circuit card?

Its more than likely a poor connection at the blower motor resistor. Its mounted on the heat duct on the passenger side with 2 screws.I would first turn the ignition and fan switches on with the fan switch on #2 or 3 then wiggle the connector on the blower motor resistor. These resistors get hot and melt the pigtail and usally loose there connection.

2005 Chevrolet Silverado - Fan not coming on. When I turn the heater/ac blower fan on, fan does not work. Prior to completely going out, fan would quit working intermittently. Is this a fuse problem? ...

Chk for power at the blower motor electrical connector. If no voltage, check the blower motor resistor, its within the blower motor vent (this controls power to the blower motor). Also, in theses vehicles water may have damaged the blower motor itself. Inspect the blower motor for proper function.

Heat/ac fan willnot turn on

If you have checked the fuses, it could be the blower motor is dead, or the switch is no good. Put a test light on the wire on the motor, and turn your switch on, if there is power, then it's probably your blower motor. If there is no power, it's probably the switch, or a wire.
