Question about 1999 Plymouth Breeze
I ADD ANTIFREEZE AND IT WORKS FINE FOR ABOUT 3 TO FOUR DAYS. THEN IT STARTS OVERHEATING AGAIN. IT SEEMS LIKE THE ANTIFREEZE IS LEAKING OUT OF THE RESERVOIR TANK. I REMOVED THE THERMOSTAT TO SEE IF MAY IT WAS NOT OPENING PROPERLY. TURNED ON THE CAR WITHOU THE TRERMOSTAT BUT THE ANTIFREEZE IS STILL LEAKING OUT THE RESERVOIR TANK(LITTLE BY LITTLE, ITS NOT LIKE ITS GUSHING OUT). CHECKED MY OIL TO SEE IF IT IS MILKY AND ITS NOT, SO I AM HOPING I AM RIGHT BY THINKING THE ANTIFREEZE HASNT MADE ITS WAY TO THE OIL YET. I KNOW ITS NOT MY WATER PUMP BECAUSE THERE IS NO WATER SPLATTERED EVERYWHERE LIKE IT NORMALLY DOES WHEN A WATER PUMP GOES OUT. DOES THIS MEAN MY RADIATOR IS CLOGGED AND I HAVE TO REPLACE IT.. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED...
Dont assume its nt the water pump , i had one go bad that didnt do a thing until it finally puked all over , everyone said u hve a blown head , ummmm not true!!!!!, it was the warer pump all allong , go get a pressure test and a compression test , and im gonna bet that pump is bad ,
