It sounds like a fluid level issue, run the engine until the fluid reaches at least 170 degrees Fahrenheit and recheck the level. If the level is ok you may have done damage to the transmission.
at your local dealer. any time you replace parts it is wise to use oem quality replacements there is only 1 impact sensor on the 2500 it is located around the front of the radiator support rite in the middle
My 2005 Serria 4x4 truck will not work in 4 wheel drive high or low, but my Auto 4 wheel will work. Is there something wrong in the transfer case with electrical or mechanical?
I had the same prob with my 2004 Silverado within the 1st year. The dealer showed me to gently put pressure against the mirror (towards the cab) as I pushed the button to extend the mirror. Must be a design flaw. Anyway, it works for me and has happened a number of times.
What has happened is it has been pushed manually causing it to jump. Push it back manually and it should adjust fine after that. If it jumps after that you need to replace.
