Question about 1994 Lexus LS 400
Thanks for your reply!!
The Cable broke with the hood up. The cable is frayed inside the car, broke from the latch. When I look at what the cable connects to under the hood, I can't seem to remove the hood latch to disconnect or reconnect a new cable. There are two cooling radiator fans in the front under the metal piece holding the latch. I removed two screws which loosened the latch just a little but can't pull it out to get at it.
Do you know how I would attach the cable to the latch under the hood?
You have to route cable along the fender side under the hood like on battery side. you have to run it where it wont get in contact with drive belt.your cable has a ball of metal at the end of it.your hood latch should have a clip where you put your cable in it.you should not have to remove nothing.just drop cable in place.
