Sounds like a few things. Flat spot on the tire. Something caught in the tread. Jack up the vehicle and turn the wheel by hand and see if you can recreate the sound, if you can you will find the problem.

Go to Autozone or Advance Auto Parts... NOW. Ask them to (for free) plug in a code reader and pull codes from the computer. They might even tell you what the codes mean. Otherwise check back here.

I am currently deployed to afghan, and my wife took our envoy in to get new tires and new shocks put in, but there was still a noise coming from the front, the mechanic said it was the bearings, what...

He's probably talking about the wheel bearings located in the front hubs. They can wear out over time and cause a humming sound as well as vibration. Any brake shop will look at the truck for a free brake inspection. If they determine it's just a wheel bearing, it shouldn't be a big ticket job.

I am getting a definite road hum off the front of my 2003 Envoy. when I rotated tires it seemed to quiet it but than returned. I suspect wheel bearings but it doesn't get louder when turning the wheel...

Usually this is a sign that you need an alignment. Do previous front tires show any wear on the corners? My guess is that the noise returned when the new front tires "broke in".

I am getting a sqeaking (high pitched) sound coming from my front end, most noticably during right turns. I have a 2003 Envoy, XLE.

May be the squeal indicator hitting the brake rotor in which you may need brakes or a backing plate rubbing on the brake rotor.

Loud whooshing sound on acceleration. Came on instantly.

1st Any recent work done on vehicle? Air filter attached properly, filter element in correctly, hose clamps on air induction tight?
2nd Stand behind vehicle while it is running. Have someone slowly step on the gas pedal. Does the 'whooshing' sound seem to come from the exhaust pipe(s) when giving it gas? If yes, the catalytic converter pasrt of the exhaust system) may have partially collapsed inside (due to rust), and is partially blocking the exit of the exhaust gases. To fix this, you will need to replace the converter. If this is the case, check online for a new aftermarket unit, as they can be very expensive.

2003 envoy xl fan not blowing air out front vents. But air coming out back vents but its hot

sounds like you have two problems, if there is no air from front then you need to ck power to your blower motor, if no power you need to ck your blower resistor and connector, second if no cool air from rear your compressor may not be engaging, make sure you ck your fuse for the front hvac system.

Help me find tires and lights for my 2003 envoy xl

I replaced my tire at 75,000 miles. I put on Goodyear top of the line tires with a 70,000 mile warantee. They were very stiff and ride harder. I wish that I would have stayed with the original tires that on it. I think GM got that one right!
Be careful what you put on it, if you like the original ride...
