Question about 2000 Ford Windstar
My warning bell keeps sounding because of a false door open indicator lights. how can I solve this problem OR stop the the warning bell sound? I am having a similiar problem with my 2000 ford windstar. But it only happens when I step on the brakes. It seems like everytime i have to come to a stop the door light flashes and chimes like crazy also the door locks start going crazy. There are no doors open and I can't figure out what the problem is. If someone could help me I would really appreciate it.
Sounds like your door sensors are going bad and are not relaying to the computer that the doors are fully closed, with that being said you will need to replace them and also at the same time it will stop the door locks from going crazy
