Question about 1984 Chevrolet Blazer
84 chev K5 blazer with 6.2 diesel. Want to rebuild my "stanadyne" DB2 injection pump in my shop. Need to know what is factory set so I don't change settings because I do not have calibration equipment. Looking to completely clean and re-seal, it presently not working, fuel is not going through. Would like diagrams and tech info. Thanks GB Marc firstname.lastname@example.org
What you are looking for does not exist outside Stanadyne. The GM service manual refers their own mechanics to send the pumps out for anything other than basic adjustments. Even the Haynes Diesel Engine Repair Manual, part no. 10330, gives no info on rebuilding or repairing these. They tell you to send it out as well. You might check out The Diesel Page on the net and you may find someone who has done what you want to do and can talk you through it.Good luck.
