Question about 2001 GMC Sierra 2500HD

PLease Help Brake system

I am experiencing a death shake type feeling while applying the brakes in my 01 2500hd.i replaced the rear pads and rotors and all the front end parts and all 4 shocks. also my abs and brake light are on. Can't figure it out PLEASE HELP

    i had it scannded but nothing came up from the brakes. i'm going to replace the front rotors, bleed out the brakes, and try balancing the tires hopefully it will take care of it

    apologies, i was under the impression that "front end parts" meant that the front rotors had been replaced. Typically a vibration from braking is due to warped rotors as countrysi248 said. Hope that they will get your problem solved.

    best place to start would be to get the car scanned. the abs light could be showing codes that would send you in the right direction. let me know if you find anything else out.

    how about the front rotors sounds like they are warped and when you apply the brakes does it shake bad ?
