All conrtol gauges including speedometer , gas and rpm die and all go to zero

You need to remove dash cluster and twist male spades (slightly) at rear of cluster that are connected to wiring connector. Trim around cluster pulls off, then remove screws holding cluster in dash, and pull forward while releasing the wire connector on back. Flip cluster over so you can see the small spades that the connector attaches to, and give them a slight twist with needle nose pliers, or tweezers. Makes a better connection, and should eliminate those gauges going on and off. Had to do it on my 95 neon too. If your not sure, let me know, but it's not too hard.
