Question about 1999 Pontiac Grand Am GT

No acceleration after 4200 rpms

My 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix GT will not accellerate after about 4200 rpm.Any ideas?

The PO300 code is random/multiple cylinder misfire detected. Sinsc you have the code PO302, that means that cylinder 2 is the one misfiring, usually a bad coil pack, or spark plug.

No acceleration at high RPM's


It's probally the fuel cutoff.If it's in Park Or Nuetral this is a normal condition to protect the engine from overevving.If it doesn't do it in gear that's what it most likely is.hope this helps
