I have a F350 4WD truck, but I do not know which button engages the 4x4. Please help

It is easily done..There aren't that many buttons..Apparently the indicator is worn off the button....Set parking brake, start truck and put it into neutral...mash each button one at a time slowly after you mash the 4 wheel drive button you will see an orange light in your dash gauge area near the bottom light up and tell you 4wheel drive has been engaged....

1996 GMC Sierra with button actuated 4 wheel drive. When pushing button to "4 High" The light flashes then goes out and does not go into 4wheel drive. What could be the problem and were should I start...

I believe the 4 wheel drive is engaged by a vacuum actuator on this model. Look under the hood for a rubber "banjo-like" diaphragm that has a cable coming out of the middle of it. If I'm right, you'll find a tear in that rubber diaphragm. Post back if this doesn't work and I'll dig deeper. Check that first though.
