Question about 1993 BMW 5 Series
Hi, We have a 1993 BMW 525i Touring Wagon that has been diagnosed with a need to replace the ac blower motor and resistor. Blower motor smelt like it was burning and would come on only for short spurts. I am wondering if this is a job that is very difficult to do? We have been quoted a $925 price tag to fix it and if I can't do it then I think we may have to donate or sell the car. Look forward to any feedback as my wife loves this car and I hate to give up on it. Thanks Gordon
If you remove the a/c board there is a capacitor that goes out alot it is right infront of the blue plug in box. This cost me .99 and fixed my a/c.
