Question about 1999 Honda Civic
I HAVE AN HONDA CIVIC AUTOMATIC YEAR 2000, WHEN THE GEAR BOX SHIFTS FROM FIRST TO SECOND GEAR A SHARP AND APRRECIABLE NOISE IS HEARD LIKE IF SOMEBODY WAS HITTING SOMETHING VERY HARD.BUT WHEN IT SSHIFTS FROM SECOND TO THIRD IT DISSAPEARS.
I WENT TO A MECHANIC AND APLIED A SCANNER TO TRY TO DETECT ANY ANOMALY. ELECTRONICALLY EVERYTHING IS OKEY BUT HE CONCLUDED THAT IT WAS MECHANICALLY AND THAT THE WHOLE GEAR BOX HAS TO BE REBUILDED.
WE ALSO CHECK THE OIL AND IT WAS VERY STICKY AND THICK.MY CAR HAS 181000 KMS.
