1985 ford ranger, v6 2.8l, 5speed, came without a carburetor and now i have now idea how to follow the regular vacuume line scematic, please hellp with more details or step by step pictures

Matthew, I assume you have replaced the missing carb with a new one, is it an OEM original? or an after market? It matters what carb you put on because of smog laws and whether or not the carb you bought is smog legal for your truck, if it is not the exact same as the factory original then there wont be a correct vacuum line schematic. If when you do have the correct replacement carb then type in (1985 ford ranger, v6 2.8l vacuum line diagram) in to your google search engine, search under " images" there you will find lots of diagrams of vacuum line routing. If you are not able to do any of this then take the truck to a qualified service tech, there are also mobile service mechanics that can help, good luck to you sir. One final note, you can plug each of the vacuum outlets on the carburetor with the appropriate size vacuum caps, this will allow you to start the engine and make minor adjustments, then you can drive the truck to a qualified tech

I would like to know if you have a carter carburator diagram for a 2bbl carb ask for exploded views of your carb you'll need the tag number on the carb. Its relatively easy to do as long as your float level is correct or google carter carberators using the tag number

I need a diagram or manual for a four barrel Hitache carburetor that came on Mazda RX4 and RX5

You going to have to find that on the internet
from a place that rebuilds those type

Have them fax you or E.Mail you a diagram

In my 50 years, the only carb diagram I ever saw,
came in a carb kit or factory manuals

I own all the factory manuals for my vehicles,
but used the carb kits ones in the 1960 & 70's

You will need a factory service manual, they are not free to share. You can access all the factory repair manuals here for a small fee I am told.

I want to disable or remove the immobiliser from my 1991 MR2, its a laser line immobiliser thats a real pain, a bit tempermental can it be removed easily

Being your's is a add on unit it will be easier than factory. I would start with contacting "Laser Line", for an installation manual or wiring diagram of your unit. Finding all the components and related wiring would be my next step. Looking for the original cars factory wiring that was spliced to fit the immobilizer. You may have to get your hands on a wiring diagram of your car to check the routing of related wiring. It should be wired to the intercept power to the distributor and the fuel pump. Before the cars computer. As always, add on kits such as this where done quickly by a person more versed with radio installs than anti-theft devises. So looking for out of place wiring, easy to access or get to locations, botched splices and electrical tape where there should not be, are keys to the location of add on wiring. Looking for the org. cars factory wiring colors and sizes, following the routing you will find cut wires spliced to different colors and sizes. Hope this helps FixYa up.

Need to know origin and destination of all vacc lines. the boy diconnected them without marking them.

the place to find a diagram of the engine vacuum routing is the library. You will also need the engine calibration on the left valve cover(if it is there) size of the motor, and if it's a manual or automatic. These had a lot of vacuum hoses and were a nightmare

I need a diagram for where the vacuum hoses go to on a 1988 Ford ranger 2wd 2.0 carb. the diagram on the truck is no help. And the hoses are no longer there

Check out the website and register the truck there. It doesn't cost anything and will give you access to an online repair manual for the truck. The vacuum diagrams should be available there. Hope this helped and best wishes.

Need to figure out where my vaccum lines go off of my carb on my 81 cj7

on the radiator support, you'll find the vacuum diagram , easy as a road map to read, for some. If this is a replacement engine, go with the basic line configuration of; vacuum advance, automatic tranny vacuum line, temperature controls if vacuum operated, fuel tank canister. Don't be surprised to see you can block a number of vacuum fittings off the carb. If emissions is an issue, you will want to google the info. List the name, make, model and search on google for the vacuum diagram
