Question about 1997 GMC Jimmy
I am having trouble removing the front passenger door panel to replace the side view mirror.
You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. then just remove the bolts for the mirror

The screws are hidden if you cant find them. look in pocket where you pull the door closed there is a rectangle cover that needs to be pried off so you can access the 2 screws. There is also one in the door handle where you open the door. hope this helps
