Water leaking on floor of 2005 camry AC

Ok well had same problem. The drain hose is blocked and is backing up and coming out of top of drain plug and tube into the car so the tube hanging down in engine bay left side of motor may be blocked with mud dirt or something else so check it and with aircon on if the water is not dripping out of the drain tube then it is blocked

Park your car on a flat surface with adequate lighting, and engage the emergency brake. Then raise the car with a jack. Place jack stands below the frame near the front wheels for added security.

  • 2 Cut about 1 foot of metal wire and form a hook at one of the ends. The hook will be used to grab hold of any clog in the tube.
  • 3 Go underneath the engine and locate the AC drain tube, which is a small rubber hose. Detach the tube from the engine so that you have access to the inside, where the clog will be located.
  • 4 Insert the wire, hook first, into the AC drain tube. Do not force the wire, but twist, push and pull the wire within the drain tube until you are able to remove the clog.
  • 5 Allow water to drain from the tube after the clog has been removed. Reattach the drain tube to the engine. Move out from underneath the vehicle, then remove the jack stands and lower the vehicle back to the ground. Perform a test drive.

How do I repair the condensation that is constantly in the front passenger floor board of my 1992 Mits Lancer. Is ther a drain hose that needs to be cleaned out? It stinks!

The AC condensation drain tube is located on the passenger side of the fire-well towards the bottom, it can be easily viewed from under the vehicle and it looks similar to a heater hose that is cut off and goes to nothing. To clean out the AC drain tube use long pipe cleaners folded in half, and be very careful not to damage the heater core, or the AC core with any hard or sharp objects. The carpet can also be pulled back at the base of the heater box on the passeger side floor to check if the AC drain tube has become detached from the heater box.

2004 Gmc Envoy Airconditioner Condensation Is Leaking Into The Floorboard On The Passinger Side Of My Car

Most probably your condensate drain is blocked. Check to see if the usual dripping at the left front tire is continuing or not (after running the A/C and the vehicle is stopped). If not you have a choked drain pipe. The drain hose is located to the left of the engine compartment just below the AC lines coming out of the firewall. There is a rubber tube about 1" diameter and it has a small plastic tube 3/8" coming out from the bottom side of the larger tube. Please take care accessing the tube as there are pipes and tubes really hot in the vicinity. It is always a good idea to wait till the engine has cooled down. The drain tube sometimes gets blocked and causes leaking onto the rug area inside the truck, just pull the small tube out by pulling it down and clean the small/large tube. If there is any water from the AC it will drain out.

The front passenger floor gets sopping wet after I drive and turn off the truck after having had the a/c running. It only does this if I had the a/c running. What's going on? 2003 Dodge Dakota 6 cyl. Aoto...

That sounds like the AC condensation drain tube/hose is plugged up.

The AC evaporator/core condensation drain tube is located on the passenger side of the fire-wall towards the bottom of the fire-wall, (it resembles a heater hose that is coming off from the fire-wall and it connects to nothing, and it is just to drain the AC condensation) and it is easily viewed from under the vehicle. Use long pipe cleaners folded in half to clean out the AC drain, and be very careful that the AC evaporator/core, or the heater core is not damaged from using any hard or sharp objects to clean out the AC drain.

2000 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 liter: Air conditioner drips condensate on passenger side floor. Is there a drain somewhere that could be plugged?

There is a drain tube on the lower part of the firewall that is probably plugged.Normally I use a pick to dislodge debris some use coat hangers but you must be careful not to poke at too hard and cause a freon leak in the evaporator core.

The AC condensation drain tube is located on the passenger side fire-wall towards the bottom, and it should easily be viewed from underneath of the vehicle, and it resembles a hose protruding out from the fire-wall.

Water is pouring into front floorboard when AC is turned on.

You most likely have a plugged evaporator drain hose. This small hose drains off the mosture that condenses on the evaporator core when the a/c is on. If the drain is plugged this water will ultimately find it's way out of the housing and onto the floor. Usually this little hose gets plugged with dirt, dust or other crud that accumulates over time which can be blown out to clear it. This hose is usually located down low on the engine side of firewall directly ahead of the passenger side. Most of them are only 2 to 4 inches long and about 3/8" diameter and can be kind of hard to locate.

I have 2000 dodge ram and its leaking water on my passenger side floor board when i have the ac on . what can this be?

the drain tube for the drip pan under the condenser is plugged up. the drain tube is located outside the fire wall on passenger side of truck. (small black rubber hose). you can take a long plastic tie strap and insert into the hose to clear any trash out of the line without any damage to the hose. hope this will help!
