It comes in from the fire wall on the passenger side under the hood.it will be held in with 2 rivets the new on should just snap in.pry the old one out ,it may break don't worry because the new one does not require any rivets. there should be 5 or 4 wires going to it!

Blower moter only work on high

Very common problem. You most likely need to replace your blower motor resistor. It is located in the A/C-heater housing near the blower motor assembly.

Need to know how to get to heat resistor in 2000 dodge caravan

the blower motor resistor should be right behind the glove box. Remove the glove box, unplug the connector(s) and remove the two screws (9/32" socket usually works).

Where is the blower motor resistor on a 1999 dodge grand caravan

Disconnect the Battery and wait at least 2-mins (to prevent a accidental discharge of the Passenger side Air Bag).
Remove the Dash-Glove Box. The Resistor is located directly behind the Glove Box on the fire wall, and is held on with two (2) 8mm screws.
Unplug the Resistor, remove the screws and it pulls-out.
Install the new Resistor, install the screws, plug back in, reconnect the Battery and recheck the Blower Speed operation. Re-disconnect the Battery and wait = (Air Bag!) and reinstall the Glove Box.

Blower motor resistor overheats and fried connector to blower motor on 2001 Grand Caravan. Replaced resistor once new one fried connection. Saw review online that the resistor diode may be the culprit....

You should be replacing the blower motor with the resistors. If your buying the parts from the dealer an experienced parts person will insist you replace both at the same time. The blower motor is usually what burns out the resistors.

Heater blower motor only has off and high nothing inbetween

This is a common problem (mine in a 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan) with the Blower Motor Resistor.
Disconnect the Battery and wait at least 2-mins (to prevent a accidental discharge of the Passenger side Air Bag).
Remove the Dash-Glove Box. The Resistor is located directly behind the Glove Box on the fire wall, and is held on with two (2) (I believe) 8mm screws.
Unplug the Resistor, remove the screws and it pulls-out.
Install the new Resistor, install the screws, plug back in, reconnect the Battery and recheck the Blower Speed operation. Re-disconnect the Battery (Air Bag!) and reinstall the Glove Box.

2001 Dodge Grand Caravan heater blower motor not working at all...worker off and on during a cold spell....now not at all ....dealer suggested replacing blower motor and resister...cost $1000....due to the...

The Blower Motor Resistor is located behind the glove box on the dash. Remove the whole glove box to access. The Resistor is mounted against/sort of into the fire wall.
1. Disconnect the negative side of battery.
2. Disconnected the Electrical Connection to the Resistor.
3. Remove the bolts/screws. I believe they have 8mm heads, there should be 2 of them.
4. Replace with new one/Replug electrical connection.
5. Reconnect the negative side last.
6. Test System before putting the glove box back in!
The Blower Motor is easy (compared to $1000) to remove and replace.

Cannot find location of 2000 dodge grand caravan resistor for blower motor

The blower motor resistor is located on the dash panel, on passenger compartment, right behind the glovebox. The resistor is mounted on a plate assembly that can be removed as shown on picture below:

in my 2004 grand caravan it's behind the glove box and left of the blower motor. disconnect the wires first then remove the 2 screws to pull out the resistor unit. First make sure you have removed the negative of your batterie. I had the same pm that prevented the blower motor to operate in any speed. I hope this will help
