Remove the interior trim of the door and also the plastic weather shield from behind it to gain access to the window in the door.
A lot of the cars windows are held onto the winder channel with plastic rolers that do not last too long, I think they design them that way to get more work for their dealer outlets, you may have also broken a cable if it has auto windows

You will have to take the door panel off the inside of the door and put the glass back in its place i dont know the details for your car but if i was you i would go to an auto-parts store and buy the repair manual for you specific car it should have step by step it is also handy with everything else you need to know about your car hope this helps

just remove the door card/panel , lower the regulator/winder and manipulate it back into position then secure it.
You may want to investigate why it came off.

Body shop guys can take off the door panel re attatch the window cable to the window frame possibly its one of those plastic link cables to raise your window But its kinda complcated to work that mechanism I would just see if the cable is broken on the window frame in the door frame

Drivers electric window suddenly fell down inside of door

thw window either came off the window slider or the slider bracket, this can be determined by removing the door panel. this could also be cable driven and the cable has disconnected or broke, can also be determined by removing door panel.

My drivers side window fell into the door on my 2000 dodge dakota 4 door. Can I fix it myself?

You should be able to fix it yourself by carefully taking the inside of the door off. If you have power windows, your window actuator has gone bad which happens often in Chrysler vehicles, and will need to be replaced. Until you get your hands on the actuator, you can jam a piece of paper or cardboard in, to keep the window up. Good luck and thanks for using FixYa!
