Hello,
First confirm it is either gas or eastter. Wayer/condedste collects at the tail oip as a byproduct of the caralyctic converter on cold rngine It normally occurs on firts start of a cokd enginw. the ebgine idles low because it is col, but should reyutn to normsl after warm uo.. If for sure iys gasolinem and the engine runs eiygh, then angihector is bad, good luck. I hope this helped yyou

Pull the plugs and try to locate the hole that's not firong if ou can. Ck the plug tips for wash. That much gas is or can be damaging to rings. That specific cylimder may have a free flowing injector. throttle Body injrction should and would affect all cylinders

This can also be indicate of a faulty fuel pressure regulot, But again, all cylinders would be affected.. The plugs will tell you ehe whole story. You really do need to have the fuel pressure chkd either way. excess can damage other injectors.. good luck.

I need your help with information and feedback. Did you check the nass air flow sensor?

+GHere is a no cost ck and fairly easy, Pull the spark plugs out keeping them in order. once done you have them all out, lay them side by side in a row and compare the electrode endds. The cylinder that is providing all yhat fuel and rough running will show up as the cleanest sprk plug. That is not the problem. This only points to the culprit, a bad fuel injector. Too much fuel will foul the plug and cause misfire and the raw gas is flushed into the exhaust on the exhaust stroke as a liquid and accumulate enough to be noticeable. You may have more than one and the plugs will disclose which ones are free flowing.. More than one because of the rpm fluctuation. I'm won't apologize for Ford But for the time you've spent fighting this. Good luck and please let me know.

My truck idling low and spitting gas out exhaust

Hello Charles...I don't know what engine package you have in your ranger the 3.0 or 4.0 litre, but regardless, a diagnostic scan needs to be performed to determine the cause of the problems. Sounds like the Electronic Engine Control (EEC-IV) has stored hard codes. A self test can be performed where Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) are transmitted on the Self Test Output (STO) wire located on the vehicle self test connector. The codes are in the form of timed pulses, and are read by the technician on a scan tool or the CHECK ENGINE light. With the information recieved the proper repairs needed to correct the problem can be determined, other wise you are just guessing.
Good Luck...i hope this helps and will fixya up.

My truck idling low and it spits gas out the exhaust

I know that you did not mention any overheating but have the cooling system checked for hydrocarbons or do a compression test (all cyls should be within 20% of each other. Even if you had one completely dead cylinder, it is very difficult for wet fuel to get through an exhaust system without vaporizing. Your symtoms sound very much like a partially failed head gasket.
I could be wrong, but without the benefit of being there, that's what it sounds like.

You replace alot of things but you should replace the EGR valve and the throttle positioning valve also. I would start with the EGR valve

Since you have replaced all those parts already, I would suggest checking out the egr valve. Also I was wondering how the coilpacks or distributor are acting? Is the truck firing on all cylinders? Very possible you have leaky injector also.
