I'M HAVING AIR IN MY BREAK LINES. I'M THINKING IT IS BECAUSE I'M MISSING A WASHER FROM THE BREAK LINE THAT HOOKS UP TO THE CALIPER, IS IT ?

Most likely, You need them copper washers on both sides of the bolt that goes thru the banjo fitting on the end of the break line to seal it to the caliper

I would say so, there should be a copper washer between the caliper and the line where it screws into the caliper

Replacing caliper on 2010 dodge grand caravan

If you refering to the clip that holds the flexible line at a metal mount point where it is screwed in to the steel line. Then you undo the fitting first from the steel line as the rubber hose has flats that prevent it from turning while doing this. Once youhave seperated the lines the clip should have a flat section bent at right angles Grip this with a good pair of multigrips and pull sideways. The clip will come free and the rubber hose will be able to be pulled out of the mount.. Then you unscrew the hose from the calper unit. Best use a new copper washer here to avoid leaks in the future,

How do I get air out of break line without taking tires off

Why would you even consider that?

Wheels always come off, so you can
get your tools on the caliper bleeder valve.

A'm I missing why your reiventing the wheel here?

When i pull the emergace brake up it does not stop

You need to take the wheel off and see what is physically happening when you pull the ebrake. Check to make sure that it is even moving the caliper.

Well the parking break is a cable that hooks right up to the calipers it is designed to be able to lock the breaks even if you blew out a break line. So bleeding the breaks won't help you unless your caliper pistons are seized. I would repplace the parking break cables and the springs that are on the calipers first. If that doesnt work get a rebuild kit for your rear calipers and that should do it.

Hope helps.

Brake diagram for 1995 dodge caravan

Could be air in the line..
Could be the caliper..
Could be the break line - the flexable line that runs from the metal line to the caliper..

If you get a Chilton Book for that car - it has how to diagams for breaks, electric - etc.
A good investment..

Rate well ;o)

I have a 92 roadmaster and the pass side front brake was replaced (by me) and now is locked up. HELP thank you: John

Might have air in the line.. Did you bleed the lines properly when you did the work ?
Take the cap off of the master. Open the pass side bleede valve.. Let it run out while you keep the master full at all times.. Let a few pints or so run through.. Clsoe everything tight before toutching the brk peddle..
It could also be a bad break line.. The flexable one that runs from the metal line to the calipar..
