Question about 1999 Dodge Durango
You will need to drop the tank after you release the pressure from the tank and empty it, the fuel pump is in the top of the tank, be very careful with everything you do being any spark or any flame (if you smoke) will explode the tank and cause a bad fire. you should make sure before you put the tank back together after you work on it, that the gaskets are all ok and not torn or broken.

could be Fuel Injectors, are bad ?
all you need is # 1 Fuel Injector, to go out that will not get Fire, and Fuel Mixture to Spark Plug.

if i am not mistaken the fuel filter is built into the fuel pump. which requires you to drop the tank and replace both.
