Directionals on my 2003 jetta don't work

I have a 2003 Jetta and the directionals only work when the car is warmed up or when I press the dash just below the hazard button. This is very frustrating.

The hazard switch overrides the signals ,as it uses the same bulbs.
the hazard switch is more than likely faulty, and pressing on the dash is flexing it.the plug on the back could be loose.the trim panel is clipped in.pry it out and take the switch out...

Temp. gauge don't move past half on 1996 VW Jetta

Sounds normal. If the gauge moved further over, it would indicate an overheating problem, wouldn't it? Check that engine is at normal operating temperature after it warms up. If it is running too cold, your thermostat might be stuck open.

Directionals go on but don't blink

One side doesn't flash or both? Make sur ALL bulbs light up, try emergency flashers. If they work, probablt have a bad flasher relay under driver's side of dash. if not, may have a bad turn signal switch. They are well known for problems.

Jetta beeps 3 times while ESP light is on

Probably one of the ESP sensors have faulty connection. These sensors measure the speed of the wheels ,if they are not connected then ESP cannot work. For safety reasons the system will not start up and gives you this error message.

2003 vw jetta wolfsburg bogs on early acceleration

Don't know if it applies to your diesel but most later gas engined vehicles have a 'cold start' valve that supplies additional fuel to the fuel/air mix along with boosting the idle speed until some warming of the engine is sensed.
