SOURCE: no dome light or radio
It's the IOD fuse. Trust me, I just fixed the exact problem on my '98 not ten minutes ago. The fuse is located in the fuse box inside the driver's side door. It will be the fuse on the bottom and toward the front of the panel with a black cover over it. Just pull the fuse holder straight out and snap the hinged cover forward to expose the fuse. Just a standard 10 amp automotive fuse and you're back in business!

i had the exact same probiem and it will only worsen if you dont fix it immediately it a problem with the ECM and if you let the problem go on for much longer your truck wont even start and the odometer will start blinking "No BUS" check your rear abs Speed Sensor its 30.00 at OREILLEYS that could cause both your abs light to come on because that sensor mounted on top of the of the rear diff. serves two purposes its an ABS Speed Sensor. and it only takes 20-30 min to replace if your abs light is on and you spedometer isnt working is you rear diff ABS SPEED SENSOR
