If there arent any screws visible then its probably snapped in place all you have to do is pull firmly on the outer most edge and it should release you may need to use a flat head screwdriver.

Cannot open rear lift gate I need to access the taillights. Do I need to go through the interior panel?

Make sure you unlock the locks then try pressing down and holding in the plastic that surrounds the tail gate handle while pulling on the handle at the same time. The hatch should open. I've seen this same problem on a few Cherokees.

The handle broke off on my 2003 jeep grand cherokee laredo liftgate. how can i open it now? i can't find anything on the inside in the back and my tail light is out.

You will need to remove the interior panle from the loft gate to axess the latch
there is 4 screws along the bottom of the panle to remove then carfuly pull the panle away from the lift gate there is plastic clips that hold the panle to the gate these may need to be replaced when re installing the panle they can be purchased at the jeep dealer.
now look into the lift gate and you will see where the handle rod conects to the latch lift on this rod and the gate will open
to replace the handle remove the 2 10 mm bolts and disconect the rod from the latch install the new handle and rod to the latch install the 2 10 mm bolts. install the panle and 4 screws
this should cover it

2000 jeep grand cherokee rear liftgate won't unlock, but will lock with switch

Does it make a horrible noise when you try to unlock it? If it does then you have to remove the interior paneling on the lift gate and replace the "actuator" i found one at a junk yard for about $40 and once you get the paneling off it only takes one screw and the connector. really simple and cheep. Hope this helps.

How do I replace the Rear Brake light bulb of 2001 Toyota Sienna?

I have a 2001 Sienna and have had to replace most of my tail light bulbs.

The bulbs that are mounted in the fender (wrap arounds) have acess panels in the van's interior that easily pop out and expose the back of the light assembly.

However, the bulbs that are found in the lift gate are a different matter. You have to remove the whole interior panel to the lift gate to expose the light assemblies. Go to your auto parts store and get a tool to help pop out the plastic retainers from the lift gates metal frame. Don't force the retainers out. Go slowly and gently so that you don't damage the interior panel. If you are really gentle you might even get to reuse the retainers.

Good luck!
