Question about 2001 Ford Expedition
I need to replace the front left rotor and want to know if the bearing also needs to be replaced. Do you still pack bearings?
On some later vehicles the entire hub assembly is replaced.Ask the parts technician at your dealership whether or not this is a replaceable bearing. The new replaceable assemblies are much easier to replace than having to knock out your old races and driving in new ones. It all depends on the style of hub assembly on your vehicle.

If you can't rock the caliper, the you don't need to change the bearing.
