Question about 1991 Nissan Maxima
I have a 1999 e250 5.4 with about 166000 mile on it and every so often it starts to miss. I throw a little injector cleaner in and it goes away after a couple days. Then a month or two will go buy and its back. The check engine light does come on when this is happening. I am going to change plugs and wires this weekend,is their anything that i should look at as well. When the van is running good it don't miss a beet so i'm starting with the poor man solution first
Sounds like you have a coil pack going bad. If you can get a hold of a code reader you will probably come up wit a code of PO301, 302, ...PO308, These codes are missfire codes the last number being the cylinder it misfired in. Change the coil on the cylinder that comes up with the misfire code number, clear the codes and retest it. You should be good to go.
