Question about 1994 Honda Accord
94 Honda Accord has 220k miles...gotta love Hondas! My car will just die while driving it. I'm able to coast to the side & after waiting a few minutes the car will start up again & no issues. Hubby thinks it might need a new fuel injector. I have to admit I haven't maintained the car too well. I have used those cheap bottles of fuel injector cleaner the last few fuelups but I need to know a plan of action. Also I know Hondas are known as really good cars. I really don't have the $$$ to purchase another car now (need 9-12 mths) but Hubby thinks the car is past it's prime. I don't think so...if I get some serious maintainance. Do you think I'm wasting my money putting it into a car almost 16 yrs old?) I'm not the original owner...bought frm an auction, put in a new transmission & hdd it for 7 yrs.
Thanks for all your help...
The two most common problem with these Honda's are the distributor and the "main relay"(this control the injector and fuel pump. Most of the time with a distributor problem you would get the problem that you have described. So in my opinion its a distributor, can be replace very easily. Contact if you need more help and thanks for using FIX YA.
