Question about 1987 Jaguar XJ6
If you have power at the battery and the fuses are ok, and their isn't any power to the fuses, trace the power to the ignition switch it might be bad. Trace the power into the switch with the key off and then with the ignition switch in accessory mode trace it cumming out of the switch,it should also supply power to the fuse block or ignition lights, head lights, radio, and windshield wipers, when it is in the accessory position. The ignition switch occasionally fails .

Check all leads coming from the battery with an ohm meter, should read zero, no resistance, make sure you do this test with the battery dis-conected otherwise you can burn out the meter or the fuse in the meter. if you need more help get back to me
