Question about 2002 Dodge Stratus
Apparently when Dodge was designing the oh so rugged 02 Stratus, they thought it hilarious to take the simple process of taking out a battery and dropping in a new one into hyperspace by hiding the pack by curving the side panel of the car body over it. Forcing you into not only having to remove that side piece, but also the front driver tire, or so says the guy at pep boys who changed my battery for me.
Ah yes and so have all the other manufacturers, they've got just about everything cotrolled by computer,I see so many electrical problems listed here, and the vehicles are so complex electrically that even factory trained techs get clueless, you need a degree in electronics enginerring to figure them out. It's all designed so you have to take your vehicle to the dealer shop,$2000 to $3000 for ans abs computer replace and install. It's a joke, that's alot of why answer these questions is so maybe I can keep at least a few people from being raped by the outrageous prices. That's why I drive an 86 Toyota 4x4,nice and simple...
