Question about 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee
My Jeep Grand Cherokee stating and die off after 3 second and showing the key simbole on instrument board, they have a sentry key, how I can fixe this proble to get my car On? Thanks, Afonso Onoia
If anyone has this problem also where you start your Jeep and it dies in about 2 seconds and the key symbol lights up on your dash I can help. I had this problem yesterday after jumping the battery, I had the correct key but it wouldn't read it. I had a locksmith come out and if you take off the steering column plastic there's a small black module in the column behind the key switch. Unplug that module for 5 minutes and it will reset. My Jeep started up right after. You MUST have the correct key though, mine is gray not sure about other years.

The sentry key system is messed up. Do you have a second key you can try or is that the only key or does it do the same thing with both or all keys.
