Worst case scenario is that you have to replace each and every sensor, over $1000 dollars, but typically its $200 or less to fix. Best place to go is the dealer service shop, next best is your nearest repair shop.

SOURCE: The interior light on my vw golf r32 stays on when

Hi, one of your door pressure switches are sticking or, may be disconnected or broken. these pressure switches are located within the inner side of each door frame. they are usually housed where the door hinges are located. you can replace these switches.

make sure it isnt a wiring issue before you buy new pressure switches.

Please rate and have a great day:)

One more thing. make sure the dome light(interior light), switch isn't set to ON. if its set to ON, it will continue to illuminate even if the doors are closed.

SOURCE: What could cause an oil leak in a 2002 MB C240?

If you had the oil changed lately and the "O" ring stuck where the filter unscrews and someone proceeded to put the new filter on without looking this can cause a problem. Putting too much oil in the crankcase can cause a seal to blow. A leak at the oil pressure switch. A loose or not sealed oil drain plug. You will need to try to locate whether it is coming from the bottom or at the top around the valve pan cover which is the most likely place, and if it that is the case; it still can drip through the night while it sets, which is missleading. If you can't find any noticeable places...that is a good place to start...at the valve pan cover...seal it real well with RTV sealer, let it dry over night and see if the problem goes away.

Testimonial: "I will take it to the shop with this new information. Hopefully, it is a minor problem and does not cost the price of a new car to fix. thanks!"

SOURCE: Will my VW Golf fail its mot when the esp light is

If you asking whether it will fail a Ca. SMOG test with the ESP, ASR, ABS, EPC lit up in your dash? YES! Specially test techs that have a bad day to begin with. Some will be dishonest calling a non related MIL e.g. ASR & ABS as a MIL/Check Engine light and charge you for a second test.

SOURCE: My 300,000KM VW GOLF 3 TD diesel exhausts black

Try diesel fuel additive like LUBRO-MOLY. Mix in full tank of diesel and run it till you cleaned out the intake track.

Which way round do the vacuum pipes go on the egr valves on a vw golf r32

VW vac pipes, like most modern vehicles are idiot proof. One will be bigger than the other, or clearly marked.
However, if not in this case, one is a vacuum feed from the control solenoid and one is the return. You will have to test which one is sucking when the engine is running...that one goes on the top of the actuator.
You haveva 50% chance of getting it right / wrong.
Cant these be bypassed?
Good luck

Emmissions light is on on my 1.6 vw golf its a 52 reg its got an mot on tuesday will it fail this can i turn light off myself thanks for any advise

cheapest way to find out is take it to a skoda dealer(labour rate less than vw)and ask for a diagnostic check, will cost but you will have all info to rectify any item before mot.(even if you take out the bulb the mot
checks the emmisions).the mot will not tell you, if it fails, what is wrong.....
