Question about 1990 Pontiac Trans Sport
My van died on the freeway no for no reason, I found out that the rotar does not spin and the valves are are not lifting. I belive the timing chain is broke. It is a 1990 Pontiac Transport van, with a 3.1 V6 if the timing chain is broke did I warp the valves as well?
Remuve the disrtibutor cap grank the engine the rotor has no muve is cam belt 0r timing chain broken

If the chain broke at highway speed then you have probably bent valves too. Does the motor spin fast? If it sounds different cranking then it may have bent valves. You can do a compression test to find out for sure. Good Luck
