There are many places for leaks to form...you need to look carefully everywhere till you find something that verifies the source...you can't fix it if you don't know what to fix! (check heater core and any seepage stains at head/block parting lines amongst other things)

Yes it could be the water pump, does your heat still work? if it does not work then it will be your heater core

we cant say where its leaking because we cant see it for one thing. if it leaks the system pressure is not high enough to keep it from boiling.maybe the thermostat is stuck shut? maybe your radiator cap doesnt seal or is defective and doesnt hold pressure.

Raditor is leaking from hose

Check the hose for any broke or fisure in there. Maybe, the leak is coming from the water pump, behind the hose. Also, I\'ll inspected almost the whole nipple of the water ****, its clean and shiny, no cracks.

Keep us updated.

The engine is overheating. Removed the thermostat, radiator fans not kicking in, noticed collant leaking from were the water pump is located.

If the water pump is leaking, then you need to replace it, replace the thermostat as well. Make sure you have got all the air out of the cooling system, when you refill the coolant, by undoing the top hose of the radiator till water comes out, likewise with a heater hose, then start and check, when the temperature is right the fans should cut in, keep an eye on the temp guage whilst doing this.
Hope thgis helps

I have a Kia Sephia 01. I had my engine over heat and warp almost everything. i've tried replacing the thermostat housing three times but everytime i refill the coolant and it runs through the housing it...

Likely you are overtightening the housing. If you have paper gasket type, try using a double gasket. If "o" ring type, just use the gasket. When tightening the housing take up small amounts on both sides, alternating from one to the other. Tighten till it is firmly mounted but stop there. After filling system, check for leakage. if seepage is noted, take up on bolts one quarter turn or less till drip stops.always alternating from side to side. Unless you have the wrong thermostat in there this pretty much has to work.

Won't start after 1 hr off and starts if left alone for 2 hrs

i would check the fuel pump and scan the computer when it fails to start ? moving the car sometimes causes the pump to run if its intermittant like yours ? one thing you can try to test this theroy is to when it wont start have someone try to start it while you tap on the gas tank lightly with a wooden malet if it starts then you know its the intank fuel pump ? if not igntion is your next test pull off the spark plug wire at the spark plug and stick a used plug onto it and let it ground on the engine have someone turn it over and watch for spark? repost if this dosnt help i can assist you with relay checks etc>

Antifreeze leak at lower raditor housing? antifreeze dripping down oilpan by dipstick tube and aircondition compressor only when hot.

you may have a water pump that is starting to fail. Look for the water pump that's driven by the fan belt. look at the housing of the water pump there is a relief hole that they drill in the casting and when the pump begins to fail it will drip out this hole. If that's where your leak is, it's time to change the pump.

Leaking antifreeze

could quite possibly be the water pump. There is a weep hole under the shaft, when the bearings go, the antifreeze leaks out at that point. Try checking w/ motor off using a small mirror to get a look under the water pump. If u see corrosion, or it's wet, get a new pump installed. Let me know what u find. good luck countrycurt0
