1997 crown Victoria. viper alarm kill switch has turned all power to car. How do I reset

there is no override. Otherwise it would defeat the point of an immobilizer. I would find out why the alarm went off and deal with the rot cause rather than trying to bypass something made to be un-bypassable.

You may be able to reset the alarm by unplugging the battery from the car for a minute or 2 but I would start with the alarm manual to be safe. Possibly even remote the alarm and put the wiring back to stock.

I want to deactivate the original alarm system. it starts to sound several times on day

you really need to know what you are doing if doing this , as wires were cut to your starter and to your coil and to the radio when it was fitted you can damage your ECU if you get it wrong .it would be better to get a provisional to do this.doing it yourself is a bad idea if you are not sure how to do this.

Which buttons do i push on the viper key fob to remotely start my 2002 ford f150 crew cab. the truck turns over but will not start

you push the ******(star)******* to start it .if it is not starting but starts with a key either wires have come off of remote starter or the remote starter has gone bad.

I have an aftermarket Ford remote start on my 2005 Ford Sport Trac. I tried to start with my truck with the key in the ignition, I would hear clicks and then the alarm would go off. I have tried to reset...

First thing is to identify the alarm system, I.E.- who made it and what model it is? (like Viper, Automate, etc...)
Contact the aftermarket alarm manufacturer or the person that installed the alarm (if you had/know who installed the alarm system). Most major system have a phone number and a list of qualified installers for their systems. They will be able to direct you to a shop that can service the system. If your vehicle won't start, you may have to have it towed to the location to diagnose and correct the problem.

Van won't start after thunderstorm set off viper alarm system

Not saying this is your solution. I would do the simple thing first. Disconnect the battery for 5 to 10 minutes and see if it allows the alarm to reset. If not call your local car alarm installer. Maybe Best Buy. These companies will more than likely help you out

Remote starter does not work but will unlock and lock doors.

depending on your alarm which it sounds like a viper model maybe? on my 02 you have to incorporate a factory alarm bypass module in order to be able to start the truck, they run about 100.00 bucks and have to be profssionally installed. The truck wont start because the computer isnt recieving the proper starting sequence due to the factory alarm

Viper car alarm

ok this is what im going to have to say to this one and theres no way anyone can help over net in hooking wires this is a site on seen hands on serviceing for car alarms and it takes about 4 hours to install
i recommend spending the money and have a certified alarm tech install your system there are alot of wires and modules to install on the vehicle
im not trying to be mean or rude but this is a complicated alarm system that requires a techs touch so that your vehicle wont come out haveing problems afterwards
some vehicles wireing needs to be cut and this is not safe i have an area on fixya that i speak of proper wireing and who should do the work this you should consider
