Well you'll need a jack, support stands, a drain pan to catch used motor oil, a new oil filter and oil, an oil filter wrench/pliers and a wrench/ratchet & socket to remove drain plug. Any further questions let me know

I have a gmc Sierra 2008 and I can't find the oil drain plug to change my oil where is it?

The oil plug will be located on your oil pan. If you checked ther are you sure you checked all areas? I have never seen one anywhere else. Especially on an american made vehicle. I don't know your experience level but the oil pan is located just in front of the transmission under the engine. I hope that helps you find it.
